What to do when you’re met with a blank page…
When you don’t want to do anything at all.
When your heart feels heavy, but you know your dream is still calling.
What do you do when there’s a task in front of you, and yet—something inside resists it?
Not loud resistance. Sneaky resistance. The kind that keeps you scrolling. Stuck. Looping.

These are the moments that build the muscle.
The Showing Up muscle.
It doesn’t always get “easier,” but it becomes more natural. More embodied.
This morning, I sat down and asked myself the classic question:
“What do I need to do today?”
But something about it felt… crunchy. Tight. Wrong.
It reminded me of one of my favorite truths:
“The quality of your life is determined by the quality of your questions.”
That “need to do” question sent my mind spiraling toward urgency—fires to put out, checkboxes to tick.
It pulled me into reactivity, not creativity.
And here’s the thing: that question completely bypassed the part of me that carries the vision. The woman who’s building something that lasts. The part of me that knows it’s the steady, strategic actions—not the frantic fixing—that lead to sustainable growth.
So I flipped the question.
(Think: Jedi mind trick for creative flow.)
Instead of asking, "What do I need to do today?" I asked:
What do I desire to focus on today?

Desire...
an invitation to listen for the soul-led sparks. The inspirations that feel alive and tingling in my body.
Focus...
a reminder that wherever I place my attention…energy follows. That my focus is both a gift and responsibility.
And what came through for me was simple but powerful:
“I desire to step away froms to-do’s and let myself dream.”
There's that Inner winter wisdom again. Whispering, "hey, zoom out, stay aligned with that deeper why."
I’m in my menstrual season right now.
And just like I guide clients to do—this is the phase where I naturally zoom out.
Reflect.
Revisit.
Re-align.
Through this, here’s what I realized today:
Even with all my cycle-aware systems in place, the endless task list of business-building can still try to dominate my focus. It’s hard to prioritize the visionary when your mind is shouting about a million micro fires.
Yet… if we never pause for the big picture, we risk misalignment.
P.S. On the flip side, I often see this in clients at the start of the journey:
They stay zoomed out too long. Dreaming, planning, vision boarding… but avoiding that first action step.
(If that’s you—you’re not alone, and there’s nothing wrong with you.)
So how do we know when it’s time to dream... and when it’s time to do?

My answer?
Follow the flow of your cycle.
When I’m bleeding, the visionary in me rises.
The reflective lens sharpens.
The realignments come.
This morning’s insights showed me where I was falling into old patterns of fiery ambition with no care for my mind, body, soul needs—and how to stay aligned with my value for self-care and ease through the business journey.
I wouldn’t have caught that if I’d bulldozed through my “need to do” list.
And soon, when my inner spring arrives—hello follicular—I’ll know it’s time to move. To build. To act.
Fueled not by pressure, but by clarity.
Not by grind, but by staying aligned with my soul's callings.
As women, this gets to be our consistency.

This is the new paradigm of sustainable creation.
Not pushing through day after day.
Not hustling harder.
But leading from your cyclical rhythm.
From your inner wisdom & intuition.
I’m learning to love this. To trust it.
And I hope this is your reminder to love it too.
Trust your ebbs. Trust your flows.
Because your vision was never meant to be built like a machine.
It’s meant to move like a cycle.
To stand out by being in sync with your unique soul spice.
To nourish others through your contagious enthusiasm.
To be ignited by what lights your soul up.
