You’ll Never Be Ready: A Breakthrough Playbook for When Fear Holds You Back in Business

Here’s the truth no one really tells you when you start a business:

It’s not just the playing 10 roles at once or hundreds of strategic decisions that will trip you up.
It’s the stories inside your head.
“I’m not ready yet.”
“I just need to fix one more thing.”
“What if I put this out and people hate it?”
Sound familiar?
I’ve heard them all. And at one point or another, I’ve believed them too.
Through navigating my own shadow stories, I’ve crafted a toolbox to lovingly move through them. I'm writing this to you so you can add these to your toolbox too. Hopefully, they come in handy next time fear tries to block your dreams.
Deepest Story, Strongest Fear, Soul-Led Business
Early in Womb Wise Co, I felt the pull to share the deeper why behind this work—my personal story of sexual trauma healing. The need for healing opened the door to reconnect to my body, love myself unconditionally, discover the value of Cyclical Living as a way to tend to my feminine body and self-care, and most vitally, reignite the power of my voice.
I knew I was being called to share this story, specifically through sharing on social media, which was still very new to me at the time.
But, fear gripped me. I put it off for days. Would it be too much? Would it trigger people? What would people think of me? I tried filming a video. My throat closed up. I got stuck in my head.
Then, I felt this inkling, a pulling down to the heart. I remembered the simple tool of my breath. This belly breathing carried me into awareness of my heart and womb.
My heart remembered why I needed to speak this story:
As an offering to the women who have felt disempowered in their body and silenced too.
To let them know their pain can alchemize into purpose.
From that place of heart, in touch with the emotion and deeper why, the words arrived.
Flowing. Honest. Whole.
All of the sudden, I had been talking for five minutes—completely dropped out of the mind and into flow. But first, I had to settle into that heart space.
It was as simple as a breath to bring me back home, to open the gateway between the mission, the words to deliver it, and the women who were meant to hear.

Tactical + Soulful Tips to Make Any Fear Seem Fickle.
1. In Tune With The Infinite
One of my favorite lyrics ever is from Funkadelic:
“The stumbling blocks get easier when the conqueror is in tune with the infinite.”
When I tap into that “infinite”—the part of me that’s beyond the ego, beyond the fear, beyond the human funky flesh suit identity—"fear" becomes small as a speck.
The thoughts and beliefs that drive self-doubt, imposter syndrome, fear of judgment, all the sticky shadows, are stories written by an author dubbed as “ego.” The part of us that identifies as being just these human, flesh forms. This infamous “ego” forgets we are actually much more than the identity we play through this fun, funky flesh suit.
When in tune with the infinite, life becomes a creative game, a playful experiment, a growing journey…
What will I create today out of all the possibilities present?
How am I being called to serve today?
How will I enjoy this fleeting gift of today and all the miracles along the way?
The fears still whisper, but they don’t run the show.
When in tune with the infinite, the ego stories are naturally replaced by a deep knowing, a deep calling…
2. Live By Your Deep Why
Fear shrinks when your mission deepens.
Any time I feel like hiding, I reconnect to why I started:
To help women turn soul-led visions into easeful, impactful, abundant businesses.
To remind them (and myself):
We got this. Our gifts are needed now. We were born for these times.
When you root back into your why, the voice of fear loses its grip. You realize you're meant to take that daunting leap—in fact, some future version of you already has, so you're really just calibrating to that expanded Self.
3. Do the Damn Thing
We can drop the “just” from “do it” because this is the hardest damn part for many.
Likely, you’ll be doing it scared, doing it messy, doing it anyway.
There are hundreds of tools for mindset work (all beautiful & supportive in their own way), but nothing rewires fear faster than action.
Whatever your “thing” is—go live, pitch the offer, build the page, launch the course—do it.
The first time might feel like nerve-shaking, freeze-provoking ego death.
Then? Your body & brain registers, “Oh, that wasn’t a scary tiger trying to eat me.”
The second? Slightly less terrifying.
By the tenth, you’ll be unrecognizable.
So, start with the 1st obvious action. The one step. Then, the next step will clarify.
No idea where to start? Let’s chat. Sometimes an outer perspective is all that’s needed to reflect the clarity you already hold inside.
And here’s The Do the Damn Thing Bonus:
When you do your thing, you inspire others to do theirs too. The world grows happier because more humans are living in their true mission.
P.S. If you tell email us @ wombwisecollective@gmail.com with whatever the “damn thing” is for your soul, we’ll personally give an accountability check-in to support you in doing the damn thing.
4. Pair Courage with Care
Sometimes, “just doing it” triggers your nervous system.
You freeze. You flight. You drift. You spiral.
I get it.
Here’s my go-to method:
Titrate: Courage + Care.
Take the scary action. Then, follow it with something nurturing. A walk. A deep breath. A dance break. Schedule both into your calendar and show up for them like sacred rituals or essential meetings.
When I film content now (something that once made me run and procrastinate), I schedule something grounding right after it. That’s how I keep the balance. —especially during my ovulatory phase, when courage peaks.
And the more you train your body to feel safe after fear, returning to a state of balance, the more resiliency you build. Eventually, that safety becomes your baseline, and the reaction is no longer triggered.
Self-Care: Offer Inner-standing to yourself.
The ultimate goal of the mind and nervous system is to keep us safe—thus, it’s doing its duty by alerting us if it feels unsafe. We often register "unknown" as "unsafe" which is essential to rewire because every dream comes with a step into the unknown. So when you witness the outer manifestations of fear (shaky body, procrastination, feeling continuously blocked, avoiding doing the thing), learn to recognize that some part of you is feeling unsafe. With understanding, this becomes an opportunity—to check in, to ask “what do I need?”, to remind your being that you are safe in this moment.
5. Put on Your Legacy Lenses
I think about my future kids. About the generations to come after us.
And I ask:
As a mother, what kind of life would I want to model for them?
A life ruled by fear?
Or a life of showing up courageously?
Even if I’m scared, I want them to see what it looks like to live bravely.
I want them to feel like striving for their grandest dreams is just a natural act of being human. I want them to feel courage to take action towards these dreams, despite any fickle fear. I imagine every courageous step is seeding the foundation for this. By simply being it.
The Final Truth: You’ll Never Feel 100% Ready.
But You Are Ready Enough.
There’s fears may never fully fade.
But You Can Build Courage to Walk Straight Through Them.
So if you’ve been stuck in the waiting room of your dream, wondering when you’ll finally feel prepared—
This is your sign.
Start now.
Just one action.
Then the next.
Let the clarity come through the doing.
You’re not alone in this.
You’re not behind.
You’re exactly on time.
